On the Simple Attributes tab, you must define all simple attributes of the data cube. On the left side of the tab, all simple attributes are presented in a list. You can add a simple attribute by clicking on  in the toolbar above. For a simple attribute, you can edit the following properties:

Name: The name of the attribute which is displayed in the user interface. To avoid confusion, it should be unique and descriptive.

Type: The data type of the simple attribute. It should be equivalent to the type of the database columns which will store the values for the simple attribute.

Data Sources: The source of the simple attribute's data for each event table. Read the data sources page for more information.

Semantics: Optional annotation to define some semantic for the simple attribute. Read semantics page for more details.

Default Scope: The default scope for the simple attribute. Read the scopes page for more details.

Alternative Scopes: The alternative scopes defined for the simple attribute. Read the scopes page for more details.
