On this pages we present the Odysseus project. Odysseus is a data stream management framework that can be used to create efficient applications that require data stream or event based processing.
Contact Marco Grawunder (http://www-is.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/mg/) if you have further questions about Odysseus.
There are different ways to get Odysseus. For a tutorial, have a look at How to install Odysseus
Here you can find a rich client based application (Odysseus Studio). The archives can be extacted to any place. For execution Java in version 1.7 or higher is necessary - see How to install Odysseus for some hints regarding Mac OS.
Nightly builds can be found under: http://odysseus.offis.uni-oldenburg.de/download/studio/nightlybuild/
If you want to use Odysseus for developing or as a framework, e.g. to extend its functionality or to create your own data stream management system, you may need the source code. Details how to develop with Odysseus can be found in this article: Development with Odysseus.
To update Odysseus with Odysseus Studio go to "Help" and choose "Check for updates".
