Odysseus
On this pages we present the Odysseus project. Odysseus is a data stream management framework that can be used to create efficient application that require data stream or event based processing.

There are different ways to get Odysseus.
Binary distributions.
Here you can find a rich client based application (Odysseus Studio). The archives can be extacted at any place. To execute java with version 1.7 or higher is necessary.
Stable (Studio Memorystore)
Nightly Builds
Nightly builds can be found under: http://odysseus.offis.uni-oldenburg.de/download/studio/nightlybuild/
Source Code
If you want to use Odysseus on a source code base, see Information Development with Odysseus.
Run an Update
To update Odysseus with Odysseus Studio go to "Help" and choose "Check for updates"
Install Features and Components (aka Plug-ins)
Odysseus can be extended with new functionalities via additional features.
With Odysseus Studio, you can simply install new features by using the menu "Help" and "Install New Software...". Choose the Odysseus Update Site http://odysseus.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/update/ for "Work with". Then, you should see all available features so that you can choose the feature you want to install.
