On the Options page, you can configure the processing of the data integration wizard. Depending on the selected scenario, not all options may be availbale. In teh following, you will find a brief description of the options.

Bulk load size

This option sets the size of the data chunks (number of tuples/events) that are transferred in a bulk load operation to the database. Tuning this parameter may increase the speed of transfering data to the database, significantly.
Create data cube schema

Activates/deactivates the creation of the data cube.
Integrate data into cube
  • Full Integration
  • Update
Activates/deactivates copying the data into the staging area table and tarnsforming the data into the multidimensional data cube.
Delete staging area table
  • Full Integration
  • Update
Activates/deactivates deleting the staging area table after the data integration was completed.
Save schema definition scripts
  • Full Integration
  • Empty Cube
Activates/deactivates saving the SQL scripts for creating the database tables of the data cube to file.
Schema definition scripts file name
  • Full Integration
  • Empty Cube
Sets the file name of the SQL script file when the "save schema definition script" option is activated
Save transformation scripts
  • Full Integration
  • Update
Activates/deactivates saving the SQL scripts for transforming the raw data into the structure of the data cube to file.
Transformation scripts file name

Sets the file name of the SQL script file when the "save transformation script" option is activated



Full Integration / Update: After you have clicked the Next button, the wizard extracts some information on the structure of the data source. Depending on the type of data source, this may take some time.

Empty Cube: After clicking the Next button, the wizard will create the data cube structure in the database.
